Deborah Jeanne Sehl, beloved daughter of Gertrude B. Sehl and the late Francis Sehl, born Dec. 11, 1952, passed away peacefully at her home in Rochester on July 26, 2014, after a lengthy illness.

Deb graduated from Lourdes High School in Rochester and Fontbonne College in St. Louis, Mo.

Deb was a high school teacher and taught business at Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge, Va., for over 25 years. She was very proud of the impact she had on her students, and was an avid fan and loyal supporter of her students' sports teams.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francis; one sister, Barb; and infant brother, Anthony Joseph.

Deb loved cats, especially her two Persians, Vegas and Reno, who lived to be 22.

With a December birthday, Deb loved Christmas, and collected snowmen figurines and Snow Village houses. Her happiest times were spent visiting with her family during the holidays, and other family occasions.
