Levandowski, John

John Levandowski, age 93, of Menasha, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. On December 10, 1919, John was born in Menasha the son of Dennis and Anastasia "Nettie" Levandowski. He was a graduate of Menasha High School and then enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country.

John will be missed by his wife of 69 years, Barbara; their children: Gary Levandowski and Rita Prestil; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by a brother Ben Levandowski and two sisters: Ann Zahn and Regina Wilz.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at St. John Cemetery in the Town of Menasha. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
