Kaczor, Marvin "Pat" C.

Marvin "Pat" C. Kaczor, age 84, Hiles, formerly of Appleton, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at AGI Healthcare, Crandon. He was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on May 18, 1929 to the late Clifford and Edna (Krueger) Kaczor.

Marvin married the love of his life, Lucile Kaczor, on July 19, 1952 in Dale, Wisconsin. The couple was blessed with 61 years of marriage. Marvin was a U.S. Army veteran stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina from 1951-1953. In 1955, he became a truck driver, retiring from Nash-Finch of Appleton in 1989. After retiring, the couple moved to Hiles, Wisconsin. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Together, they did a lot of traveling to tractor shows. Marvin was a past President of the Cast Iron Seat Collectors. He was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Crandon and held several offices.

Marvin is survived by his brother, Eugene Kaczor of New London, sister-in-law, Lola Kaczor of Cecil, sister-in-law, Darlene Kraus of Menasha, nieces and nephews, his adopted family, Dale (Karen) Schmidt of Appleton and their family, Tim (Jen) Schmidt of Greenleaf, Melissa (Tyler) Zimmerman of Greenville, Kristin (Randy) Kohlstedt of Oak Creek and their families and his god children, Bryan Kraus, Mark Hoffman, Steve Puls and Kevin Kaczor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucile, parents, Edna and Clifford Kaczor, brother, Donald Kaczor, brother-in-law, James Kraus and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arnold and Leona Prentice.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10 from 10-11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 501 N. Park Ave, Crandon WI 54520. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Eric Vertein officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Union Cemetery in Dale, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Crandon or Northland Lutheran High School.

The family wishes to thank all of the caregivers at AGI Healthcare of Crandon, who are truly angels here on Earth, for the excellent care and compassion provided to Marvin. A special thank you also goes out to Pastor Eric Vertein for the continual spiritual care provided to Marvin these past years.
