Percy "P.J." Lindner, age 97, of Brillion, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Bellin Medical Center in Green Bay after a short illness.

P.J. was born in Brillion on May 31, 1915, son of the late Jacob and Agnes (Tschantz) Lindner. P.J. married his high school sweetheart Phyllis Kraus in 1938, and they became proud parents of two sons, Richard and John. They enjoyed a long and happy marriage of over 74 years. After high school, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison; enrolling in classes in bacteriology, dairy science, and management. P.J. was then employed by Mr. Alvin Wolfmeyer and managed Wolfmeyer Dairy. In 1951, he purchased the dairy and renamed it The Brillion Dairy. He serviced customers in Brillion, Potter, Hilbert, and Forest Junction with all dairy products. After many successful years in business, he retired to enjoy golf, traveling to all but two states, hunting, fishing, and dancing with Phyllis. P.J. was very active in his community, serving as President of the City Council, President of The Brillion Chamber of Commerce, was a member of the Brillion Lions Club and Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, and served 25 years as a volunteer for the Brillion Fire Department.

P.J. will be missed by his wife, Phyllis; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard (Jane) and John (Pamela); four grandchildren, David (Cheryl) Lindner, Anne Lindner, Jason Lindner, and Abby (Matthew) Lewek; as well as six great-grandchildren who always enjoyed his stories of "The Good Old Days."
