We met Tony when his son, David and our son, Chad were classmates at Holy Redeemer grade school (35 years ago), teammates on their baseball teams, and best friends. Tony was a great dad, and involved in their activities. He and Judy welcomed us to their lovely home. I remember one evening Tony took delight in getting me tipsy on sloe gin fizzes. He had a great sense of humor. Our deepest sympathies go out to Judy, kids, and the rest of the family. Ed & Vicky Burnett, Evansville, Indiana

As a young child growing up and being the oldest, I remember the many visits from my Uncle Tony. How much my mother looked forward to seeing her brother, as they were very close I remember, and losing parents so young it was very hard for my mother, as uncle joe and aunt Joanne lived so far away, uncle tony was the only family she got to see when in town or visiting. He always stayed with us, ate dinner together, mothers cooking. Each time he came over he always had a smile, gave me a hug and kiss, and said hi honey. Our home was everyones home, as uncle joe and aunt Joanne referred to it as there home where they felt comfortable. On one visit from college before uncle tony left, he handed me a stuffed notre dame dog, but being so young I really didn't know what it was, I remember starring at it because it had unusually oversized ears and were floppy I couldn't see its face . Each visit was more enjoyable and memorable. An uncle so kind and big hearted. He will surely be missed especially by my mother. My uncle who always had a smile.

We offer our condolences to Judy and the rest of the family. We will miss Tony and do wish we could have known him years ago. The photos show him as vibrant, very handsome, and a person who loved life. We're blessed by knowing him a very short time.
