Age 93, of Heidelberg, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013. Charlie was a life long resident of Heidelberg, owning and operating the Barber Shop on the borough's Main Street from 1948 until his passing. He was also a veteran of the US Navy, serving in the Pacific during World War II. Beloved son of the late Nick and Maria Joseph; loving husband of the late Helen (Zimmer) Joseph; devoted father of Marie (Arthur) Henry and Nancy (Carl) Tropeck; caring grandfather of Michael (Michelle) Tropeck, Timothy (Julie) Tropeck and Brian (Erika) Henry; adoring great-grandfather of Allison Tropeck; dear brother of the late Peter Ferrari; also survived by 11 nieces and nephews. Friends welcome from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at LEO J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 323 Second Ave., Carnegie. Funeral Mass on Monday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 330 Third Avenue, Carnegie at Noon.
