DONALD A., Sr.
December 2, 1931 to April 2, 2013. A life well-lived has moved on to the next great adventure. Don's greatest wish was for the happiness of those around him, his wife of 30 years, Lori Woodbury; his sons, Donald II (Jeanne), Steven (Sandy Koza) and David (Margaret); his grandchildren, Jessica Cundiff (Brandon), Jason, Ryan, Patrick and London; his great- grandchildren, Anastasia, Cameron, Damien and Gavin; and members of Lori's family, his mother-in-law, Virginia Coberly, Debbie, Ren, Byron, Cathy and Elizabeth; he is also survived by his adored niece, Mildred Knuths and her family. Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from the age of 16 until his retirement as a 1st Lieutenant in 1978. He spent his 19th birthday at Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War and his many stations included embassy duty in Libya. Whatever the pursuit, and the many included motorcycle riding, archery, disco dancing, RC planes, and lastly rock collecting, Don's enthusiasm was legendary. He was aided and abetted by friends in the Falcon Archers, WCMAA, and at Headwaters Lapidary. He so appreciated the kindnesses of friends including Kirk Marker and the Rice Family. Don will be interred with full military honors at the Black Hills National Cemetery, South Dakota. A local memorial gathering will be held this spring. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, www.semperfifund.org. Arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Please add or view tributes at:
