1945 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
Born August 16, 1945, peacefully at home, on August 16, 2013, in Mt. Lebanon, PA, departing from the loving arms of his attentive 24/7 caregiver wife to the loving arms of our Lord Jesus welcoming him Home. Jim bravely fought for over three years against an incurable enemy. Jim was a loving, faithful and generous husband to his surviving beloved wife, Roseann Salamon Ladeda. Surviving also are his 92 year old father, Frank F. Ladeda; sisters, Janice Ladeda Berkowitz, husband, Allen, and Susan Ladeda. Sadly missed by sister-in-law, Mary Salamon-Moro, husband, Robert; and brother-in-law, Joseph D. Salamon, wife, Deborah; nieces, Danielle Pierce, (Brett), Jillian Salamon, Janelle Salamon and nephew, Dr. Joseph M. Salamon, (Melissa) and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his only child, his loving mother, Helen Rebaric Ladeda, and his loving parents-in-law, Joseph and Rose Salamon. Jim was an exceptional retired employee, working over 27 years for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Jim enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1963 to 1967. After the Service, he attended City College in San Francisco, CA and Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Jim was a Reporter for the Star Ledger Newspaper in New Jersey. We thank his loving hospice nurse, Vanessa, and Staff at Gentiva Hospice. Family visitation ONLY at BEINHAUER'S FUNERAL HOME, 412-531-4000 prior to the Funeral Mass. Friends meet at St. Bernard Church on Monday at 10 a.m. NO flowers please. In memory of James F.
