Age 66, of North Versailles, died June 25, 2013. He was born in McKeesport, on June 27, 1946 and is the son of the late Edward and Mary Kanuk Janusek. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Goldie Gerendash Janusek who was his soulmate and best friend. In addition, he is survived by children, Jennifer (John) Moretti of Chippewa, PA, Megan (Jay) Cyr of New York City, NY, David Janusek of North Versailles; grandchildren, Brandon, Sarah, Izabella and Parker; brother, Carl (Eileen) Janusek of Duquesne. After serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and graduating in 1975 from Penn State University, he went on to work for 44 years at USX Irvin Works until he retired. Paul was a proud father and grandfather who put family as his first priority. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, going on trips to Las Vegas, the movies and Friday night dinner dates. His friendly smile and willingness to help anyone will be greatly missed. Friends will be received at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Friday from 2-8 p.m. Mass will be held Saturday at St. Robert's Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
