Age 79, of Sewickley and New Smyrna Beach, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born in Sewickley on October 25, 1933 to the late Robert L. and Lillian S. (Schmerhorn) Preifer. In 2009, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jane (Barcaskey) Pfeifer. A gentle reflective man, he was generous and loving, just a "great guy". He is survived by his high school sweetheart whom he married on Jan. 30, 2013, Cleo (Schwartz) Abercrombie Pfeifer. Also survived by a loving niece, Janice Floyd, and a loving nephew, Rob Floyd in Florida. Bob's wishes were to have no visitation or service. Arrangements by COPELAND'S.
