Mary Louise Greenhalgh, 70, of Idaho Falls, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. She was under the care of Hearts for Hospice.
She was born March 31, 1942, in Idaho Falls to Darold Horace Greenhalgh and Jacqueline Florine Chivrell Greenhalgh. She attended St. Leon School, Joshua D. Smith Foundation and the Child Development Center.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended special-needs Primary and Relief Society. She had a beautiful smile, warm hug for everyone and loved visiting her many friends. She participated in the Special Olympics and won medals in the events she competed in. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crosswords, bowling and riding her bike.
Survivors are her brother, Ralph (Janet) Greenhalgh of St. George, Utah; and sisters, Kathy (Bill) Barlow of Salt Lake City and Pam (Rod) Wadsworth of Idaho Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jim Greenhalgh.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. The family will visit with friends from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
