Henry Robert "Bob" Caretti

Clinton Corners - Henry Robert "Bob" Caretti, 80, of Clinton Corners, NY, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Born on February 24, 1933, in Port Chester, NY, he was the son of the late Henry and Mary (Fulko) Caretti.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict.

Prior to moving to the Hudson Valley, Bob lived in Barrington, RI where he was the owner and operator of Arrow Messenger & Courier. An avid boater, Bob mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved Italian food and good wine; and relaxing at his home in the Catskill Mountains.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Claude Marino, his grandchildren; Alexandre and Amanda Marino; his daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Erik Link, his grandchildren; Jessica, Jonathan and Peter Link as well as his longtime companion, Patricia Carello.

Friends may call at the Burnett &White Funeral Home, Rhinebeck on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm and on Monday from 10:30 to 11:15 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30am on Monday at Church of the Good Shepard, Rhinebeck, NY. Burial will be at Rhinebeck Cemetery, Rhinebeck.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations be made to Mass General Hospital, 100 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA 02114, Attn: Ms. Lindsey Simpson/Bladder Cancer Research Fund on behalf of Henry R. Caretti.
