John Robert Campisi
Milan - John Robert Campisi, 47, of Milan and a lifelong area resident, died on Tuesday, January 15th, 2013 at his home.
John was a skilled carpenter having worked for many years with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America - Local #279 based in NYC and also a private contractor.
One of his greatest joys was his love for riding his Harley. He was the proud owner of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle and was an active member of The Unknowns- a biker society based out of Brooklyn.
John was also an active member of the Red Hook-Rhinebeck Lodge 2022 BPOE.
Born on February 28th, 1965, in Hudson, NY, he was the son of Jack Campisi of Milan and the late Beverly Anne (Seymour) Campisi, who predeceased him in June of 2008.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his son; Robert Campisi of Red Hook, his daughter; Kayla Robinson of Milan, his two sisters; Jacqueline Anne Fenaroli & her husband Peter of Red Hook, & Julia Beverly Campisi of Mystic, CT, his maternal grandmother; Mary Seymour of Ilion, NY, his former wife, Connie Sigler of Red Hook; his aunts & uncles; Mary Alice & Arthur Hornett of New Hartford, NY, Loraine & Robert Loomis of Frankfort, NY, Earle Fletcher of Spring Hill, FL, & John R. Seymour of Ilion, NY, his longtime friend; Jennifer Alberg of Milan, a niece; Gianna Fenaroli, a nephew; Matthew Fenaroli both of Red Hook, along with several cousins & countless friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at Burnett & White Funeral Homes, Red Hook. The Rev. Eric Titus will officiate. Burial will be at St. John's Reformed Church Cemetery, Red Hook.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM.
