Ulster Park, NY - Joseph T. Locascio 90, a 30 year resident of Ulster Park, NY passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on April 21, 2014.

Mr. Locascio worked for Schatz Federal Bearing Company in Poughkeepsie. For many years he helped run the Oddo House in Clintondale which was a family business. He also worked for IBM in Kingston, NY up until his retirement.

He was a member of the Lions Club in Plattekill, American Legion in Highland and Port Ewen, NY.

Mr. Locascio was a WWII United States Air Force Veteran. He was honorably discharged.

Born in New Paltz, NY on January 12, 1924. He was the son of Joseph A. Locascio and Laura Brescia Locascio.

On October 12, 1947 at the Oddo House he married Marion Oddo. Mrs. Locascio survives at home in Ulster Park, NY. Additional survivors include his daughter; Denise F. Watzka and her husband Ed of Port Ewen, his grandchildren; Jason Watzka of Port Ewen, Gina Watzka and her husband Michael of Madison Wisconsin, his sisters; Virginia Oddo, Marion Santoro, his brothers; James and Frank Locascio and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours are Wednesday April 23rd from 4-7pm at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 38 Main St. Highland, NY 12528.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 24th 10:00am at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church in Gardiner, NY.

Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Gardiner with military honors.
