He was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed golfing and woodworking. Joe was a proud and dedicated leader in the Boy Scouts of America for the past 50 years. During this time held various leadership and executive positions within the Hudson Valley Council and has received numerous scouting awards and recognition. Some of his most cherished moments included taking seven scout teams on hiking treks to Philmont Scout Ranch.
