Margaret Ann Mauriello

Poughkeepsie - Margaret Ann Mauriello, 49, a former resident of Millbrook and current resident of Poughkeepsie, died on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital.

Margaret was born in Kingston, New York on June 23, 19 64. She was the daughter of her loving parents, the late Frederick and Jacqueline Mauriello of Millbrook.

She is survived by her immediate and extended family including her sister Mary Angela Richard and her husband Patrick of Wappingers Falls, her brothers, Frederick Mauriello and his wife Mary Laux of Billerica, MA and Christopher Mauriello and his wife Ann of Swampscott, MA, and sister Lisa Charland and her husband Larry of Fairfax, VT. Margaret was the proud aunt of Corinne Martin and husband Zachary, Kyle Richard, Kaitlyn Richard, Dustin Charland, Taylor Charland, Alyssa Mauriello, Michael Mauriello, Matthew Mauriello and Joseph Mauriello.

Margaret had a larger than life personality with a legendary smile. She was always ready with a big hug and unconditional love. Margaret was an accomplished Special Olympics Athlete in swimming and track and field, winning at both the state and local level.

Margaret also leaves behind her extensive ERMO House family who she loved immensely. Our family extends immeasurable gratitude to Doris, Donna, and Miss Regina for their devotion and love. Margaret's family would also like to thank St. Francis Hospital ED, PCU, and the 6th floor for their excellent care.

Calling hours will be held from 7PM to 9PM Tuesday, November 26th at the Allen Funeral Home, 1605 Main St., Pleasant Valley, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9AM Wednesday, November 27th at St. Joseph's Church Millbrook, NY. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery Millbrook.
