Wappingers Falls, NY - Manzi, Michael A. Jr.,

Michael entered into rest on July 18th 2013. Born in the Bronx on November 5, 1946, to Michael and Rose (Keeley) Manzi, who both survive at home. He married Kathleen Oliva in 1965 and they moved to Dutchess County in 1970. Michael was retired from the New York City Fire Department 1986. He is a life member and past president of Beacon Engine 1, Past Exalted Ruler of the Beacon Elks 1493 and a member of St. Rocco's Society.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children, Michele and her husband Tom, Missy, Michael 3rd and his wife Jennifer, and Marcy and her husband Dennis, eight grandchildren Nicholas and Mitchell Tyburczy, Ryan Manzi, Dennis and Hunter Benitez, Allysa Manzi and Michael 4th and Anthony Manzi. Michael is also survived by his siblings Patrica Haynor Masswinkle of NJ, Elizabeth Wild of Martha's Vineyard, Barbara Manzi of Fishkill NY, and Sean Manzi of Inlet NY. Michael was predeceased by his brother, Ronald Manzi of Florida.

Calling hours are Friday, July 26, 2-4 and 7-9 with Beacon Engine Service at 7:15 and an Elks service at 7:30 pm. Services will be held Saturday, July 27, at 11 am at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, New York, with burial following at the St. Joachim's Cemetery, Beacon, New York.
