Delaney, Rev. Charles Arthur, C.S.C.
Rev. Charles Arthur Delaney, C.S.C., 91, died January 18, 2013 in Santiago, Chile. Father Delaney was born on July 27, 1921, in Binghamton, NY, to Patrick and Mary (Norton) Delaney. He graduated from St. Paul's High School in 1939, from the University of Notre Dame in 1945, and was Ordained into the priesthood as a member of the Congregation of Holy Cross on June 7, 1949, in Washington, D.C. Preceding him in death are Father Delaney's parents, his brother, James and sister, Marion Telfer. Father Delaney is survived by three nieces and one nephew: Marie Davenport of Binghamton; Rosemary Bickford of Houston; Patricia Kring of Corpus Christi; and James Delaney of Houston. A MEMORIAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED ON SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 2013 AT 10:00 AM AT ST. PAUL'S CHURCH, CHENANGO STREET, BINGHAMTON.
