Majka, Emil M.

Endicott: Emil M. Majka, 81, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, December 8, 2013, at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford, NY. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Majka, Endicott; five sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Sue Majka, Ohio, Martin and Cindy Majka, Colorado, Christopher and Cara Majka, Endicott, Stephen and Tami Majka, Endwell, Matthew and Monica Majka, North Carolina; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean Marie and Robert Randall, Pennsylvania, Andrea and Stuart Anderson, Texas; his 15 grandchildren whom he adored; also several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Endicott, a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean War, a retired IBM Endicott employee and a member of its Quarter Century Club, and a former Visions Federal Credit Union employee. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, and at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church were a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment will be held in Calvary Cemetery Section 34 on Friday, December 13, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Majka may be made to St. Joseph's Church, 207 Hayes Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
