Binghamton: Frederick N. Napierala, 83, of Binghamton, died Friday evening, March 1, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving wife of 59 years and his family. He is survived by his wife, Frances (Palombero) Napierala of Binghamton; four daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Michael Spadanuta of Hackettstown, NJ, Barbara and George Linfante of Chesapeake, VA, Donna and Joe Whiteside of Virginia Beach, VA, Paula and Robert McGuigan of Lusby, MD; one son, Jason Napierala of Binghamton; 15 grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Evelyn Napierala of Johnson City and Robert and Barbara Napierala of Endicott; also several nieces and nephews. Fred was a retired employee of IBM Corp., an Army veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, its Men's Club, and was an usher, and the First Ward American Legion Post 1254. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Sedlock Funeral Home Inc., 161 Clinton St., and at 10 a.m. at St. Cyril's Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. The family requests that those wishing make memorial contributions in his name to
