Cyganovich, Ignace F.
Owego, New York: Ignace "Iggy" F. Cyganovich, 93, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013. Mr. Cyganovich was predeceased by three sisters, Frances Miller, Nellie Gerace and Helen Andrews. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Cyganovich; his children and their spouses, Cynthia and Richard Tkatchuk, Elizabeth and William Shepardson, Richard and Marie Cyganovich; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three brothers and sister-in-law, John and Sophia Cyganovich, Tony Cyganovich, William Cyganovich; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Tchir, Mildred and Wesley Kwiatkowski, Cassie and Ted Pastalan; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Cyganovich was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Amy. He worked in the logging and lumber industry. Iggy was a member of St. Francis Church, St. Patrick Church and the Candor American Legion. He will be most remembered for being a kind and gentle man and his devotion to his wife, children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held privately at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Iggy's memory to the Candor Emergency Squad, P.O.
