Fisher "Action Jack", Jack B.

Jack B. Fisher "Action Jack" 91, of Vestal, NY died peacefully at home on Friday, August 29, 2014. He is survived by his children Marilyn Gorman (Brian) of Maine, NY, Michael Fisher (Marcia) of Round Rock, Texas and John Fisher (Lori) of Johnson City, NY; grandchildren Elizabeth Seifert (Brendan), Ellen Trice (Matt), Matthew Gorman (Alana Hilliar), Erich Fisher (Meghan), Kelly Fisher (Jason Stevens), Katelyn Fisher (Tyler Gunn), and Kristen Fisher; great grandchildren Braelyn, Ella, Michael, and Ryan, also several nieces and nephews. Mr. Fisher retired from IBM and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was an avid New York Mets fan and loved the Miami Dolphins. He enjoyed socializing at Snidely's, Yesterday's, and the American Legion in Vestal. Funeral Services will be held at McDevitt & McManus Funeral Home, LLC., 88-90 Front Street, Binghamton on Wednesday, September 3rd at 10 am. Burial will be at Chenango Valley Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 2nd from 4-7 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society to help find a cure for our family members, 1650 South Ave, Suite 100, Rochester, NY 14620.
