Dailey, Jeffrey T., Sr.

Tioga Center, NY: Jeffrey T. Dailey, Sr., 53, passed away on March 15, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Vicky Dailey; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Jr. and Diana Dailey; his daughter, Nicole Dailey and Jason Whitmarsh; his grandchildren, Cadence Gainous, Peyton Whitmarsh, Jeffrey Dailey III; his sisters and brother-in-law, Tammy and Rob Cullen, Terri "Chubby" and Bob Young; nieces and nephews, Trisha and David Rosh, Tom and Sherri Howe, David Young; grand niece and nephew, Kelsi Rosh, Hayden Howe; his mother-in-law, Sylvia Middaugh; special uncle, Sonny Ayers; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and many good friends. He was predeceased by his father, Tom Dailey; his mother, Ina Mae Keene Dailey; special uncle, John Ward; and nephew, Robert Michael Young, Jr. Jeffrey was born in Sayre, PA on December 29, 1960. He worked as a Chemical Technician at Lockheed Martin in Owego and also worked at Bostwick Auctions and Cole Auction Service. He was a volunteer fireman and EMT for many years with Greater Valley and Cayuta Hose Company and was a member of the Tioga Center Baptist Church. Jeff enjoyed watching local circle track racing and NASCAR. He loved the thrill of deer hunting and all kinds of fishing as well. Jeff was especially a loving husband, devoted father, cherished brother, and amazing grandfather. He loved life and always lived it to the fullest. Family and friends are invited to visit at Richards Funeral Home, Rte. 17c West, Owego, NY on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Richards Funeral Home on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor and friend, Gary Smith, officiating.
