Hoyt, Robert J. (Bob)

Binghamton: Robert J. (Bob) Hoyt 85, of Binghamton, NY died September 5, 2013. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Robert and Edna Hoyt; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Reid and Rita Conklin; his sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Duane Ross. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara (Conklin) Hoyt, Binghamton; his daughter, Lori Glanville (David Peet), Johnson City; his son, Mark Hoyt, NYC; 6 grandchildren, Mindy, Jaime, Scott, Christopher, David and Lexus; 4 great grandchildren, Amira, Jaidyn, Antonio and Jaxson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronny and Jean Conklin, Deposit, Gunther and Pat Ottens, Oquaga Lake, Frank and Janet Russo, Conklin, and Marilyn Conklin, Binghamton; niece, Barbara (Bill) Casey,Texas and his nephews, David and Debbie Ross, Conklin and Terry Ross, Florida and many more nephews, nieces, cousins & friends. Bob was a US Army veteran of WW II and the Korean War, attaining the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He was retired after 22 years from CAE-Link. He loved sports, especially golf, football, hunting and boating. He and Barbara spent many wonderful travels to places like Hawaii, London, Paris, Switzerland, Las Vegas, California, Washington, Boston, Florida, Maine and Myrtle Beach as well as several cruises.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 (Today) at 4pm at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson. The family will recieve friends Saturday (Today) from 2pm until the time of service. The burial will be held Monday, September 9, 2013, 10am in the Riverside Cemetery, Windsor, NY.
