Windsor: Robert K. Lewis passed away January 26, 2013 after a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Johnson Lewis, a son; Matthew (Cobi) Lewis of Endicott, a daughter; Christine Kennedy (Philip Tierno) of Windsor, two sisters; Carolyn (Martin) Moore and Jan Lewis (Royal Wilson), grandchildren; Joseph (Sara) Kennedy, Julia (Bradley) Stiedle, Emily, Samantha, Jordan and Sarah Lewis, Nicholas and Christopher Tierno, great-grandchildren; Avery, Evan and Mia, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Linda Hillriegel. Robert was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Korea. He was a member of the V.F.W., the American Legion and the Cloverleaf Veteran's Assoc. in Brookville,FL. He was a lifetime member of the Union of Operating Engineers Local #71 in Rochester and was employed by Ansco, GAF and Anitec for 34 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Kirkwood and a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus in Our Lady of Lourdes Council #10803 in Windsor. Bob was an avid fisherman who never caught anything. He was a man of deep faith who loved his family and lived his life accordingly. The family is grateful to the staff at Lourdes Hospital and Hospice for the loving care they provided for Robert over the past several years. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 593 Kent St. Windsor on Thursday at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton, Wednesday from 5 - 8 pm. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Hancock. The Knights of Columbus will hold a service at 7:45 pm Wednesday, at the funeral home. Please share memories at
