Johnson City: Theodore N. Horton, 94 of Johnson City went to be with his Savior Jesus Thursday morning August 1, 2013 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife, Romaine (Walker) Horton; and a son, Ronald E. Horton; two sons-in-law, Rev. Richard Reynertson and James Horton. He is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Carol Horton, South Carolina, Joan Reynertson, Minnesota, Sandra (Bruce) Rought, Endicott; a son and daughter-in-law, Theodore D. and Karen Horton, Johnson City; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; also several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Endicott. He had worked in the CC Camps during World War II, and served in the National Guard. He was a member of the Johnson City Moose Club, a devoted charter member and past president of the Johnson City Eagles, and a member of VFW Post 2332, Johnson City. He was a retired employee of the IBM Corp. in Endicott with 32 years of service. Theodore loved his family, his dogs, and was a friend to all who knew him. Funeral Services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main Street, Johnson City Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Horace Brown King will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
