Passed peacefully, sur-rounded by family, on August 5, 2014, after a brief illness. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Carole was born August 13, 1942 in San Francisco, CA. She was a longtime resident of Santa Rosa, where she graduated from Montgomery High School and Sonoma State University. Carole had a love for education and learning and pursued a variety of careers. Being an elementary school teacher, a printer and a small business owner were just a few of her endeavors. She was always looking for op-portunities to learn something new. Even in retirement, she pursued learning while be-coming an Enrolled Agent tax professional. Whether a col-league or a supervisor, in every job, she developed friendships that lasted throughout her life. Carole was preceded in death by her adored father, John Vincent and sister Dona Fomasi. She is survived by her beloved mother, Geraldine Vincent and her sister Debra Fellows (Ron). She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, John Rafanelli, Stephen Rafanelli, Julie Rafanelli Bruton (Keith), Christopher Rafanelli, Dana Williamson (Mark), Scott Adams and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and many lifelong dear friends. A special thank you to Sutter Hospice for their care, kindness and compassion. At Carole's request, a private interment was held. A Celebration of Life will take place on September 19, 2014, 12 noon at Oakmont Golf Club, 7035 Oakmont Dr. Santa Rosa, CA. 95409
