Clarence died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack on March 10, 2014, with his family by his side, and just two days before his 84th birthday. Born on March 12, 1930 in Plainview, TX, he served in the US Army and was stationed in Alaska. After moving to Santa Rosa, CA in 1951, Clarence married Doris Ruth Haney and they were together for 63 years. Clarence worked as an auto body repairman for 45 years, owning his first body shop in Santa Rosa and later, a second shop in San Francisco. He loved the outdoors, being on the water and boating, riding motorcycles and off-roading in his Jeep. Proud owner of an RV Airstream trailer, he enjoyed his fellow campers and Airstream rallies. His quiet pursuits included reading history and building model RC planes and boats. Clarence loved to laugh, tell a good joke, and spend time with his family and friends. He was a spiritual man and loved the Lord. Clarence is survived by his beloved wife, Doris, son Joel (Connie), daughter Loretta (Gene); four grandsons, Spencer (Chrissy) and Scott Dorsett, and Jonathan and Daniel Davi; one great-granddaughter, Jaidan Davi, and two great-grandsons, Lucas and Dylan Dorsett. He will be greatly missed. The family would like to invite you to join them at a Celebration of His Life on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Christian Family Fellowship Church, 1160 Hopper Avenue, Santa Rosa.
