Husband, father, uncle and son, his love was his family. He had plenty of love for everyone. He is survived by wife Judy, sister Eva, children Don, Doug and Debbie, step-children Mark and Rene. He is survived by many grandchildren, great grand-children, nieces and nephews. Born in Angwin, June 25, 1929, he lived mostly in Colorado and California. He passed away on 9/11/13 with family around him. He served in the Air Force at the end of the Korean War as an aerial photographer and gunner (the guy in the bubble on the side of the bomber) He worked at the Sacramento Bee as a photographer before becoming a cement mason for 35 years. He was a member of Cross & Crown Lutheran Church for 24 Years. He was an Elk, B.P.O.E., golfed with the SIRS and traveled with the Good Sam RV Group. He loved and had many friends from golf and enjoyed being with friends at the 8 Ball in Cotati. Services will be held at Cross & Crown Lutheran Church 5475 Snyder Lane, Rohnert Park, on September 21 at 1:00 p.m. with refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the or a .
