Passed away on April 23, 2014 at the age of 59. Cody was born in Chicago and raised in Los Angeles. He attended UCLA and graduated proudly with an Accounting Degree from UC Berkeley. He travelled extensively through South America and lived in Belize in his early 20s. When he returned to the states, he moved to Hawaii and decided to become a musician. He taught himself to play piano and eventually met his first wife, Glenna, in the music business. Together they wrote and performed for the next 15 years at Bay Area Clubs. Upon the birth of his only child, Griffin, in 1994, Cody reinvented himself again. His second career was as a CPA. He was valued and adored by his clients as a partner with Brush Bernard Mitchell in Healdsburg. His clients will remember him as he always asked how they and their families were before they got into discussing "business". Although he and his first wife were divorced in 2000, they remained the best of friends. Cody searched for his soul mate and found her, Kim Cuscaden, in 2008. They blended their families and had six blissful years together. They were inseparable and finally found their dream home in 2012 where they nested in joy until his death. They were to be married May 29th of this year. Cody leaves behind his son Griffin, his former wife Glenna Franceshci, Fiancé Kim Cuscaden, sister Elaine Abramson, mother Bernice and so many friends including his adored clients. There are so few people given us to love. Cody was loved by so many and will live on forever in so many hearts. At his request, private services will be held.
