Ronald Arthur Graham, self proclaimed mayor of Forestville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 16, 2012. He was 78 years old. Ron was born on November 28, 1933 in Lafayette, Indiana to George Graham and Doris Graham. He attended St. Mary Cathedral and Jefferson High School. He served in the Army and attended Purdue University. He taught as a middle school teacher in Sonoma and Lake counties, and retired to Forestville to raise a family. Ron is survived by his sister Joanne Balaban, his brother James Graham, and his daughter Marisa Graham. Ron lived his life on his own terms. A simply complex man, he had an overwhelming curiosity about everything. Everyone was his equal and he made everyone feel welcome. He would give the shirt off his back if someone was in need. He touched the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. Above all, he loved his family. He was his family's superhero and a legend in his own right.
