Please join us in celebrating the life of our much loved father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who died on October 11, 2013. He left this life to reunite with his beloved wife Sylvia, who died in 2010. Bill was born in Los Angeles to hard working parents Howard & Ida Dance. When the Korean War started, Bill signed up and eventually attained the rank of corporal. He spent over 30 years as a surveyor for the County of Marin. He also faithfully served as a reserve Marin County sheriff's deputy for 22 years. Bill leaves behind a younger brother, Wayne Dance, who lives in Utah with his wife Ardys and their three sons, David, Michael, and Christopher; his children with Sylvia: Paul Dance and wife Angel, Tila Alexander and husband Greg; his other adult children; Diana Dance of Oregon, Benny Dean of San Diego; and his grandchildren; Natalie Dance, Averie Dance, Zoe Alexander. Friends are invited to attend a Chapel Service on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at the Santa Rosa Mortuary Chapel, 1900 Franklin Ave., Santa Rosa. Burial with Military honors to follow.
