FORD, ANNA C. (nee CASTELLINI) 99 - of South Vineland, passed away on Tuesday morning January 15, 2013 in the SJH Reg. Med. Ctr., Vineland. Mrs. Ford was born and raised in Vineland, where she remained a lifelong city resident. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Pauline (Bagliani) Castellini and the wife of Retired Police Chief for the City of Vineland, Carl Ford. She was also pre-deceased by her brothers; Charles, George, Theodore, Richard, Paul and Francis Castellini. Step son, Charles Ford, Nephew Richard Castellini and Niece Paula Boyer. Before retiring with 34 yrs of service in 1975, Anna was the Clerk for the City of Vineland. She began her secretarial career with Landis Twp on December 8, 1941 and rose through the merger of the Township and Boro to become the City Clerk in 1967. She was a longtime and active member of the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Altar and Rosary Society and had served on the Parish Council. She enjoyed the time spent with her extended Castellini family. She is survived by her sisters in-law; Rita Castellini and Alice Johnson; nieces, Mary Jane Swanson, Joyce Miller, Beverly Hines, Patricia Clark, Janice Weir, Deborah Williams, Sandy DeMore, Donna Lucas; nephews, Robert, Jim, Daniel, Paul and Francis Castellini; three step grandchildren, Chris, Carl Ford and Kathy Conner; as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:45 AM at the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish â€" Church of St. Isidore's, 1655 Magnolia Rd., Vineland, NJ where her funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 AM.
