DILLIHAY, BETTY "BETTY BOOP" 88 - of Atlantic City departed this life at her residence on March 13, 2013, encircled by her loving family with prayers and reflections. Born in Lakewood to the late Muriel and Robert Dillihay, she attended the local public schools and graduated from high school where she also played on the girl's baseball team. She enlisted into the U.S. Army (W.A.C.S.) and relocated to Atlantic City in 1946. A former member of Second Baptist Church, she worked at Kent's Restaurant in the Bakery and later became a Certified Nurse's Aide and she was lastly employed at the AC Medical Center where she retired after twenty-five years of dedicated service. A devoted member of the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, she is survived by: her loving children, Rosella Corbin-Brown (Charles) of Bowie, MD and Annette Dillihay of Pleasantville, NJ; Ernest Dillihay (Anisa) of Alta Dena, CA and Richard Dillihay of Pleasantville; one sister, Pauline White of Lakewood; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Noon at The Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses, 920 N. Dr. M. L. King, Jr. Boulevard. Viewing from 11am to Noon.
