SATT, RUTH 83 - of Cape May, passed away on March 29, 2013 at Cape Regional Medical Center. She was born to Joseph and Esther Bockisch on April 23, 1929 in Gleiwitz, Germany, the oldest of eight children. Harry and Ruth met after having both survived the Holocaust and married in 1948. Together in 1950 they moved to the U.S. During the following decades, Harry and Ruth worked hard to build several businesses, most notably Seashore Food Dist in Rio Grande, the former Hen House Rest in Wildwood and the former Atlas Inn of Cape May. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Harry in 1984. She continued to be involved in the family business. She was also predeceased by her long time companion, Harry Hirsch in 2011 & her brother, Johnny. She is survived by her children, Henry (Mary Anne) of Cape May, Helen Falah (Haim) of Netanya, Israel and Goldie Adams (Tommy) of Cape May Court House, seven grandchildren, Chico Falah (Lilach), Leslie Kronemeyer (Jerry), Tracy Gammage, Jonathan Falah (Dana), Ramit Yehuda (Haim), Michael Satt (Kathy), and Tammy Gammage, 17 great-grandchildren, five brothers, Herbie, Gerry, Zeev, Abe, David and one sister, Rina. Services will be held at Beth Judah Temple, Spencer and Pacific Aves, Wildwood, NJ on Wednesday April 3, 2013 at noon. Interment will follow at Beth Kehillah Cemetery, 6687 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ. Following the interment, the family will be receiving family and friends at 1120 Cape May Ave, Cape May, NJ.
