SAQUENTA DIXON Obituary
Saquenta attended Hopewell Senior High School up through the 12th grade. She was formerly employed at the Quality Inn in Hopewell, Va., as a room service technician. She also worked as an independent hair stylist for several years. She was a member of Harvest International Full Gospel Baptist Center Inc.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Miller Curren Sr., Chester Dixon Sr., Juanita Powell (Dixon) Tucker; great-uncles, Andrew (Joe) Powell Sr., Bracy Bonner Sr., Johnell Haynes; and one devoted companion, Andre Todd.
She leaves to cherish in her memory three loving children, Dav'eon Haynes (8), Zionna Williams (5), and Laura Dixon (1) of Hopewell, Va.; devoted parents, James Curren Jr. of Pulaski, Va., Bonnie Dixon of Prince George, Va.; devoted brothers, Jamie Dixon, Ravid Frye, both of Prince George, Va.; uncles, Bernard Rosser (Karrie) of Pompano Beach, Fla., Robert Dixon, Walter Dixon (Tina), Chester Dixon Jr., all of Prince George, Va.; aunts, Philadamay (Joy) Webb, Parlee Jackson, Iva Stuart Patterson, Dawnette Webb, all of Pulaski, Va., Sherry Glasgow (Eddie) of Suffolk, Va., Selina Dowe of Colonial Heights, Va., Juanita Dixon Claiborne of Prince George, Va.; great-aunts, Ruby Pernell (Robert) of New Jersey, Alberta Bowlds (Charles) of Illinois, Apostle Mary P. Bonner of Prince George, Va., Rosa Hill, Laura Johnson (Joseph), both of Duquesne, Pa.; one great-uncle, Thomas Elmore of Duquesne, Pa.; grandmother, Joyce Rosser; devoted family friends, Tonisha Craig, Loletta (LoLo) Stith (Peter), Tammy Fisher, Jenay Fisher; special family friends, Cynthia Todd, Cory Todd, Shandrika Stith and Tereaka (TT) Taylor; a host of cousins, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at Harvest International Ministries, 1017 W. Washington St., Petersburg, Apostle Mary P. Bonner officiating. Interment will be held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
