I was shocked to hear of Merlin's passing, though I haven't heard from him in years, I have often thought about both he and Gary. Noah, Eva and Matthew hold strong to each other and to both your fathers' and mothers' legacy they left, both were very remarkable people

I know he was a fabulous artist, but I truly, truly love that he cared so deeply about his community--and that he was Fire Chief! That makes him a true Renaissance Man. Love and condolences from the West. SB
