David L. Giltinan David Lewren Giltinan, 58, of Yorktown, VA passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. David was a native of Napoleon, OH and a Yorktown resident since 1977. He retired from NASA as an Aerospace Technician in April of 2011 after 28 years of service. He enjoyed building models of military planes and figurines and was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. David was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Giltinan and Eleanor V. MacHattie, and a brother, Patrick Giltinan. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lois; two brothers, Timothy Giltinan and his wife, Lynn, and nephews, Joshua and Jeremy of Baltimore, MD, and John Giltinan of Trenton, NJ; and his stepmother, Joan Giltinan of Sebastian, FL. The family received friends Friday, September 6, 2013 at Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, Va. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, in the chapel of Amory Funeral Home. A funeral service will also be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 9, at Robinson River Primitive Baptist Church in Brightwood, A. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the York County Fire and Rescue/Life Safety, P.O. Box 532, Yorktown, VA 23692. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, VA.
