Matthew B. Austin, 27, of Baltimore, Md., entered into God's eternal care Friday, March 22, 2013, at his home in Baltimore, Md. Born July 24, 1985, in Hanover, he was the son of Kim G. (Gordon) and David C. Fink of Hanover, and Brett R. and Amanda R. Austin of Baltimore, Md. Matthew was a 2003 graduate of South Western High School, Hanover, a 2007 graduate of Penn State University, and was currently a dental student at the University of Maryland Dental School. Matthew enjoyed playing the guitar and was an aspiring artist. In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by a brother, Luke T. Austin of Littlestown; a sister, Summer G. Austin of Hanover; a stepbrother, Michael D. Fink of Columbia, Md.; a stepsister, Tiffany L. Shetter of Gettysburg; maternal grandparents, David and Sonya Gordon, of Hanover; paternal grandparents, Denny and Linda Austin of Littlestown; maternal great-grandmother, Emily Hoffman; paternal great-grandmother, Helen Bard; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a niece. Funeral services to celebrate and remember Matthew will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
