Sally S. Clewell Sally S. Clewell, 54, of Camp Hill, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Hershey Medical Center following a short illness. Born January 20, 1960, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Betty E. Seylar and the late Robert S. Seylar of Chambersburg. She is survived by her husband, Steven M. Clewell; daughter, Emily Joy Clewell, of Camp Hill; her mother; a brother, Brian R. Seylar, of Chambersburg; a sister, Patricia J. Seylar, of Camp Hill; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, sisters-in-law, nieces, and a nephew. Sally was a 1978 graduate of Chambersburg Area High School, a 1986 graduate of Penn State University with a BA in Rehabilitation Education, and a 1993 graduate of Temple University with a Masters Degree in Social Work. She was a licensed social worker and a lifetime member of the Penn State Alumni Association and had been employed with the Center for Independent Living, the state Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Central Penn College as an Adjunct Professor, and most recently by Intrepid Corp. A member of Christ Community Church, Sally loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. She enjoyed crafts and gardening. We will miss her laugh and her smiles. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 5 at Christ Community Church, 1201 Slate Hill Road, Camp Hill. Greeting of the family will begin at 12 noon prior to the service. Interment will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sally's memory to Special Olympics PA, 2570 Blvd. of the Generals, Suite 124, Norristown, PA 19403.
