CRAIG M. ANDERSON, 53 OREGON - Craig M. Anderson, 53, died on Sunday, April 6, 2014. He was born Dec. 3, 1960, at Fort Sumter, South Carolina; the son to Ronald and Carole (Petty) Anderson. Craig graduated from Byron High School in 1979. He served in the U.S. Army from 1979 to 1982. Craig loved to weld, and worked 25 years for Quality Metal in Byron, and 10 years for Etnyer, Co. in Oregon. He was also co-owner of "This & That Accessories" in Oregon. Craig liked to ride his Harley, go to Rendezvous, but most of all he loved to spend time with his granddaughter, Gracelynn. He was predeceased by his father, and 2 brothers, Chuck and Duane Anderson. Survived by his wife, Michelle; 2 daughters, Sabin and Brittany Anderson of Oregon; granddaughter, Gracelynn; god son, Nicholas; sister, Pam (Gary) Johnson of Pecatonica; 2 brothers, David and Daniel Montefusco; nieces and nephews, Joshua and Jessica Johnson, Melisa Wentz, Michael and Mark Anderson. A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Oregon VFW. A memorial fund is established in his name.
