HARRY 'JIMMY' INGRAM ROCKFORD - Harry "Jimmy" Ingram of Rockford departed this earthly life Saturday, October 26, 2013, in Rockford Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. He was born March 8, 1951, in Chidester, Arkansas; the son of Donnie and Brodie Ingram. Harry lived in Rockford 55 years, coming from Chidester. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He attended Auburn High School. Harry leaves to cherish many loving memories, two daughters, Laureanette (Ambrus) Ingram-Crumby and Felicia Horton; four sons, Deon Smith, Harry S. (Pamela) Ingram, Scott and Jamar Smith; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; mother, Brodie Ingram; six sisters, Bobbie Rigsby, Eva Proctor, Joyce Ingram, Kathy (Vernon) Henry, Brenda (Russell) Reynolds and Glenda Ingram; four brothers, Louis (Wilmer), John, Duane and Jeffery Ingram; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special fiancée, Debra Burks. He was predeceased by his father; daughter; Harriett; four brothers, Benjamin, Thomas, twin brother, Larry and Donnie Ray Ingram. Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 4615 Auburn Street. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home, 2429 W. State St.
