Joe George Joe George passed away February 7, 2014, in Napa. He was born in Finley in 1931. Joe was an adored husband, father, grandfather and great-grand-father, whose family was his life. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War serving on Martin Mars as flight engineer. He enjoyed teaching high school business for 35 years, building and remodeling homes, traveling, gardening, boating on Clear Lake, real estate, photography, automobiles and woodworking. He was commodore of the the Lakeport Yacht Club and Buckingham Homeowners Association. Also, he was president and served on the building committee at Grace Church in Kelseyville. He was a charter member of the Sunrise Rotary, Elks, Masonic Lodge in San Francisco, and Teachers Association. Joe is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia; daughter, Ivanne; son, Tony; brother, David; sister, Sharon and their spouses; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2014, at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary, Lakeport.
