Kathy Ann Espinoza Kathy Ann Espinoza, born March 13, 1953, to Richard and Vivian Tuller in Santa Ana, California, passed away February 21, 2014, at her home in Lucerne, California. She was a free spirit from early childhood and had a very optimistic outlook on life. She attended school in Southern and Northern California, had a quick wit and made friends easily. Several friends have been life-long with many fond memories of Kathy. She was a good listener with an open mind and possessed an uncanny ability to empathize with others. Kathy was also a breast cancer survivor who was a regular participant at the annual Lake County Relay for Life. Although the last several years were filled with many health issues, Kathy never lost her free spirit or her ability to laugh. All her grandchildren gave her so much joy, she was always there for them with a smile and a hug. Kathy is survived by her beloved father, Richard Tuller; her sons, Richard and Joe Swaney of Lucerne; and her sister, Connie Villines of Upper Lake. Kathy leaves behind four very, cherished grandchildren, Jessica Swaney, Rebecca Swaney, Jeremiah Swaney, and Janee' Swaney, all from Lucerne. To have known Kathy was to have loved a truly free spirited, unique and kind person. Please come join us in a celebration of Kathy's life. There will be a memorial from 12 noon to 3 p.m., Sunday, March 23, at the Odd Fellows Hall on Main Street, Upper Lake. The family is asking that instead of flowers, anyone wishing to donate in Kathy's name do so to the Cancer Society's Cure for Breast Cancer. Kathy, Our Free Spirit Though your smile is gone forever, and your hand we cannot touch, we still have many memories of the love that we loved so much. Your memory is our dearest keepsake, with which we will never part, God has you in his keeping, and we have you in our hearts. Cremation Arrangements by Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary, Lakeport. Please share your memories by signing the guestbook at www.legacy.com
