Peter A. Jezerinac
Passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at his home in Redlands. Pete was born in Monessen, PA on March 25, 1933. He moved to Redlands with his wife Louisa and son Shawn in 1958 and was the purchasing agent for the City of Redlands. He is survived by his son, Shawn Jezerinac and his sister, Sr. M. Agnes Jezerinac, a granddaughter Roseanne Rosero, her two daughters, his grandson Sean Aaron who has a son on the way, his brother and sister-in-law, James & Mary McCann; numerous nieces and nephews. He was devoted to his family and friends and rarely met a stranger. Pete founded The Louisa M. Jezerinac Memorial Scholarship Fund, was an active member of The Redlands Elks Lodge 583, and The Redlands American Legion Post 650. He also loved living part of the year in Maui. There will be a public viewing and Rosary at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands on May 7, 2014 at 9:00 am. A public Mass will follow at Holy Name of Jesus, Sacred Heart, Catholic Church in Redlands at about 11:00 am. A Celebration of Pete's Life will be held at Redlands Elks Lodge 583 immediately following Mass that will complete at 3:00pm. The family will have a private burial service for Pete at Hillside Cemetery where his wife Louisa is also interred. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to: The Louisa M. and Peter A.
