Aaron Kenneth Drayer, 67, of Loveland died October 30, 2013 at McKee Medical Center. He was born November 21, 1945 in Middletown, PA. Aaron grew up in Pennsylvania; he graduated from Grad High School in Middletown and later graduated from Arizona State University. Aaron eventually he moved to Rockford, IL and then to Loveland, CO in 1986 where he worked as a warehouseman at the Bureau of Reclamation for 20 years. Aaron was a radio DJ, he sang a lot and enjoyed music. He played football for Arizona State, enjoyed tinkering with items in his garage, going on walks and playing catch. Aaron especially loved being with his family. He was a member of Orchards Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Aaron is survived by his wife Peggy Ann Drayer of Loveland; mother Ruth Drayer of Middletown, PA; daughters Tina Mellen of Princeton, NC, Melissa Whitehorn of Rockford, IL and Ashley Drayer of Greeley, CO; sisters Audrey Trace of West Virginia; Barbara Stehouwer of Grand Rapids, MI and Gwen Drayer of Plano, TX; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013, 1:00pm at Viegut Funeral Home.
