Elton Clark Obituary
Elton Clark, 68, of Loveland, Colorado passed away July 18 in Hospice following a brief hospitalization for complications from lung cancer. He leaves in the home his wife, Connie, and granddaughter, Starr Nicole Clark. He also is survived by two daughters Beth and Amy, and one brother, T.C. Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jimmy. Elton was born in Graham, North Carolina, to Harvey and Flossie Thompson Clark. He served in the U.S. Air Force 1965-1968 at Goose Bay Air Force Base in Labrador, Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines, and at the North American Air Defense Command in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Technical Management from Regis College in Denver and worked for Hewlett Packard from 1972-2002 in Loveland, Ft. Collins, and Greeley, Colorado. Elton enjoyed working with the Loveland Jaycees, working HP picnics at Hermit Park, camping, bow hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor, his wise advice, and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone who needed assistance. A celebration of the life of Elton will be held at Viegut Funeral Home, Loveland, Colorado at 10:30am, Wednesday, July 24. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7pm Tuesday at Viegut Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in care of Viegut Funeral Home to Disabled American Veterans or Pathways Hospice. A reception will follow the services at Viegut Reception Center.
