Lee (Leo) Audette Obituary
Lee (Leo) Audette passed away on October 11, 2013 while surrounded by his loving family. He lived a long and happy life from 1929-2013. He was a dedicated husband to Mary Audette for 57 years and a devoted father to his three children, Glenn (Pam) Audette, Donna Audette and Brian (Karen) Audette. He was a caring grandfather to Amber (Wess) Reed, Corie Audette, Blake (Eris) Audette and to his great-grandchildren Dylan Reed, Lillian Reed and soon-to-be Merek Audette. Family gatherings were an important highlight of Lee's life. Lee and his eleven other siblings grew up in a loving household where everyone had a chore to do. His surviving brother and sisters include Lucille Kelley, Lorraine (Neil) Starck, Paul (Mindy) Audette, Elaine (Andy) Valenti. His late brothers and sisters are Irene Dibattista, Richard Audette, Jeannette Duhon, Albert Audette, Roger Audette, Mary Cone, and Donald Audette. Lee served in the Korean War for two years and was a member of the Carpenters Union where he worked in the Northeastern States and Florida before settling in Colorado. He enjoyed many outdoor activates including fishing, bird watching, horseback riding and going on family camping trips. He also enjoyed other activities like watching football games and taking his RV to Baja Mexico. The family request that donations be made in his memory to Pathways Hospice at www.pathways-care.org A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 18th at Allnutt in Loveland www.allnutt.com. Directly preceding the service there will be a ceremony in Victory Gardens at Restheaven Cemetery, Fort Collins.
