Milburn M. Cochran, 88, of Loveland passed away on January 1, 2014. Milburn was born on July 23, 1925 in Kingsville, Missouri to Frank Lee and Agnes Ruth (Mote) Cochran. In 1943 he graduated from Kingsville High School in May and married his high school sweetheart, Mary Esther Earl, in December. He then joined the United States Navy and served from 1944 to 1946 during WWII. Milburn worked for I.B.M. retiring after 32 years as an Advisory Engineer in 1988. Milburn and Mary were married for 64 years before she passed away in 2008. He and Mary lived in numerous places in the US and made many friends wherever they lived. Milburn had been a member of the VFW, the American Legion and the Masons. Milburn is survived by his sons Milburn Earl (Chris) Cochran of Monument, CO, Kenneth L. (Ming Cheng) Cochran of Morgan Hill, CA. and Timothy L. Cochran of Fremont, CA; daughter Mary Gale Cochran of Lafayette, CO; half-sister Sharon Kay Gann of Utah; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary; one brother, one half-brother, two sisters and one half-sister. Memorial Services will be scheduled at a future date.
