Funeral services for Donald M. Adams, 78, of Rutland who died January 2, 2013, were held Monday, January 7, at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Church in Rutland.

Officiating was the Rev. James Dodson, Parochial Vicar. Entombment followed in Evergreen Cemetery, with burial pending at a later date.
A reception followed at the Rutland Country Club.
William Gower-Johnson was the organist.
Karen Burgess was vocalist.
Readers were Raymond Adams and Jack Adams.
Gift bearers were Alyssa, Kendra and Andrew Sabotka.
Bearers were Raymond Adams, Dennis Duffy, Daniel Keith and grandchildren Brent Adams, Christopher Adams and Ryan Baker.
Honorary bearers were William Duffy, Mike Blanchard, Tom A. Terenzini, John Cragin, John McNeil, Paul Anderson, Joe Muscatello, Tom Adams and Jack Adams.
The eulogist was Gilbert Nadeau.
Military honors were provided by American Legion Post 31, and flag folders were Ronald Fairbanks, Bill Champine and Sam Coburn, with Jim Burke making the presentation.
Prayer services were held Sunday afternoon at Clifford Funeral Home by the Rev. Dodson.
